GO ON RED!
Bringing
Photon Therapy into the Light!

It is time to bring photonic therapy out of the dark and into the light! We have been conditioned over the years to become a pill oriented society. We have been made to believe that we must take drugs to cure illnesses and conditions, and alternatives are rarely prescribed. Conversely, photonic therapy and The Touch and Torch Method™ (TTM™) is totally natural, without side effects and often with quicker results because it energizes the body’s own healing centers at the cellular level.

Because people do not understand how photonic therapy works this method of treatment has not gained the recognition it deserves.  The need for exposure and education in this area is critical, so that this treatment may be used with knowledge and confidence, erasing any misconceptions and doubts.

Why allow our horses to be treated with drugs and surgery as our only option when there are other viable and often better treatments worth trying first?  Prior discoveries in photonic therapy have been remarkable, yet these discoveries have virtually been ignored as a viable alternative to standard methods of equine healing.  I want to make my recent discoveries and prior research with photonic therapy available to all horse owners and equine professionals, and the sooner, the better.  Even if drugs or surgery are the best option of treatment, photonic therapy can, and will, reduce healing time.   Many conditions can be treated successfully using photonic therapy only.  What we all want for our horses is the best, least invasive, least traumatic, fastest healing, natural treatment that is available.

Seeing is believing!

For the past 6 years I have sought out and treated every condition in horses that I could find in order to establish a foundation of successful treatments.  The discoveries, as well as the successful results are astounding, which led to the formation of TTM™.  My initial research with this method was done on foals born with contracted tendons (ALD), and has since expanded to include many other conditions including, but not limited to; tendon, ligament, and joint conditions, wounds, scar tissue, proud flesh, arthritis, and almost every equine ailment known.  I have found TTM™ to be effective in many conditions that could not be healed with current traditional methods, and I am passionate about revealing these discoveries to the equine world.

For example, after using TTM™ on external wounds, healing occurred approximately two to three times faster, with no swelling or infection.  And NO proud flesh!  This speedy healing process can eliminate the need for stitches, antibiotics, and weeks and weeks of wound care, expense and stress in many cases.   When TTM is used in tendon and ligament conditions, healing, or length and laxity begin with the first treatment, and results can be seen immediately.  Inflammation and swelling can be flushed and dissipated before your eyes, as with arthritis or injuries.  TTM™ is not a complicated procedure, the horses enjoy it, and the healing benefits are huge.

We cannot improve on nature but we have the ability to embrace nature’s healing process and be in harmony with nature in all aspects of our relationship with horses.  This includes communication, handling, training, riding, feeding and care.  I believe that all horse enthusiasts want to know more about a natural and effective method of healing - and would indeed want to know how to apply it to their own relationship and partnership with horses.

As natural horsemen and women, we know that you always offer the easiest option first and then phase up from there to be effective in all aspects of horse handling.  We do not start with phase 4 and phase down to 1 which is why I am such a proponent of offering the “easiest” treatments first in equine healing as well.   TTM™ is effective, inexpensive, non-traumatic, and non-invasive which makes it a perfect choice as a viable first option of treatment.

What we can do as natural equine enthusiasts is educate ourselves about TTM™, and ask our equine professionals be open to, and even trained in all the new treatment alternatives available including photonic therapy and TTM™. It’s like having more ‘arrows in your quiver’.  I believe we owe it to our horses to be educated in photonic therapy as part of that decision making process.

As a result of my findings, I am in the process of making this valuable information available to horse owners and equine professionals so that it can be used as a standard form of treatment.   I am currently instructing certification courses in photonic therapy and TTM™ procedures. These courses include a basic, advanced and a professional course.  For more information about Photon Therapy, TTM™ and my procedures, or courses, please contact me at janet@naturalhorsepower.net  or 970-590-3875.    www.naturalhorsepower.net also provides case and course information. It is time to take the trauma out of the treatment and to work with nature’s own healing processes. I believe photonic therapy and TTM™ is the way to do this.

As equine owners, enthusiasts, and professionals, you have the power to help horses in large numbers.  Please help to get the word out about this new, natural, revolutionary healing treatment and help end unnecessary suffering of our horses.

Thank You!

More about Photon Healing

Also referred to as low-level laser therapy, red-light therapy, LED therapy and cold laser therapy.

Photonic therapy is used as a non-invasive procedure to stimulate acupuncture points as well as other areas.  This is a pain-free, sterile, safe and effective procedure which works in conjunction with the body’s own ability to heal.

The light emitted by the laser boosts energy to the cells and accelerates healing.  It has been proven through research that muscle and skin cells grow up to 5 times faster than normal when exposed to this treatment.

Photonic therapy can also be successfully used for:

GENERAL:
Arthritis, bursitis, hematomas, burns, edema, inflammation, muscle problems and infection.

HOOVES:
Abscesses, bone spurs inflammation, navicular, ringbone
and laminitis.

LEG AND BODY:
Hocks, stifles, fetlocks, carpus issues, bone chips, tendon and ligament problems, splints, strains, sprains, swelling, back, shoulder, hip and neck pain, wounds, cuts, scrapes and acupuncture points.

NATURAL VERSUS TRADITIONAL TREATMENTS

This treatment is not intended to replace traditional veterinary care but rather as an alternative treatment in some cases and as an aid to be used in conjunction with veterinary care to achieve optimum healing results.

Most medical treatments to date rely on drugs, which have side effects, or surgery, which is invasive.
Drugs usually poison some enzyme system for the benefit of the patient such as Ibuprofen and aspirin which poisons the prostaglandin system to decrease pain by poisoning the inflammatory cascade.  Blood thinners poison the clotting system, and on and on.  Then there is surgery, in which you have to cut the patient in order to cure.

With photonic therapy we are enhancing the cells’ normal biochemistry instead of poisoning something that is supposed to occur naturally or cutting at it.  This approach has the potential to alter all kinds of disease and injury processes, particularly any in which there is an energy crisis for the tissue.

A lot of injuries result in injured, damaged tissue that makes it difficult for the normal process of energy metabolism to occur.  Swelling strangles blood vessels cutting off adequate oxygen and nutrient supply so there is an energy crisis.  Photonic therapy can be used in the critical period after injury to help damaged tissue to survive before it is completely destroyed.

HOW IT WORKS.

*Increases circulation by increasing the formation of new capillaries.  New capillaries speed up the healing process by carrying more oxygen as well as more nutrients needed for healing and they can also carry more waste products away.

* Stimulate the production of collagen.  By increasing collagen production, less scar tissue is formed at the damaged site.

* Stimulates the release of adenosine triphosphate (ATP).  ATP is the major carrier of energy to all cells and provides the chemical energy that drives the chemical reaction of the cell.  Increases in ATP allow cells to use nutrients faster and get rid of waste products faster by increasing the energy level.

* Increases lymphatic system activity.  Edema has two basic components, liquid and protein.  Research has shown that the lymph vessel diameter and the flow of the lymph system can be doubled with the use of light therapy.  This means that both parts of edema can be eliminated at a much faster rate to relieve swelling.

* Reduces the excitability of nervous tissue and stimulates the release of endorphins which are the body’s own long term pain fighting chemicals.

* Increases RNA and DNA synthesis which helps damaged cells to be replaced more quickly.

* Increases the process of scavenging for and ingesting dead or degenerated cells by phagocyte cells for the purpose of clean up.  This is an important part of the infection fighting process.   Destruction of the infection and clean up must occur before the healing process can take place.

* Stimulates fibroblastic activity that aids in the repair process.  Fibroblasts are present in connective tissue and are capable of forming collagen fibers.

* Stimulates tissue granulation and connective tissue projections, part of the healing process.

* Stimulates trigger and acupuncture points.

* Helps relax muscles.

There have been no reports of adverse effects.  When a cell is “re-energized” it accepts no more energy, so you can not cause it harm and it is reported to have no effect on healthy tissue.  The body will not absorb what it cannot use.  When treating chronic conditions temporary increase in pain or discomfort may be observed initially.

Traditionally, photonic therapy has been used only to stimulate acupuncture points.  In my method of treatment, I call this “indirect treatment”.  I have developed a procedure using photonic therapy and massage therapy that is called The Touch and Torch Method™  This is a “direct” treatment used to treat the condition directly on the site of injury or condition.

The results of this direct treatment I believe can, and will change the world of equine healing!
